LINX Plus to GLOBE

GLOBE is a new service being introduced at SCRC for residents of the Central Stockwell and Kennington Park Estates who are looking for work. All new Hyde Southbank Homes tenants will be introduced to the project by their housing officer, or else they can simply drop in at SCRC and find out more.

Working with Ibtisam Adem, the project co-ordinator, you will be able to devise your own action plan which could include job search, c.v. writing, training and work related adult learning courses, volunteering, enrolling on Personal Best, and job brokerage through the South Bank Employers’ Group.

Other Stockwell residents accustomed to SCRC’s LINX Plus will still be able to obtain advice and referrals. GLOBE is a partnership which includes Hyde Plus of the Hyde Group and Family Mosaic, another major housing association. It is being funded for two years by the London Development Agency, with the Housing Corporation also showing a keen interest because of its outreach approach and the involvement of housing officers from the outset and throughout.
