What this course is about

(Course aims & objectives)

 

Learners will gain skills, knowledge and the confidence to use computer software to produce documents.  Launch and exit software applications, use search and discovery on the Internet, setup an email account to and send and reply to emails.

What the course will cover

 

At the end of the programme, you should be able to:

Open and close Microsoft Word application

Edit, enter text, print a document

How I will learn & be assessed

 

You will be given practice exercise to improve your skills, group work, self-assessment and peer work will be used. Your tutor will give you feedback on your progression throughout the course and end of subject assessment.

Will I gain a Qualification?

 

No qualifications will be gained from this course as this is not an accredited course, however you will receive a certificate of achievement.

What could this course lead to?

 

eDCC Beginners in Word or Excel.

How much does it cost?

 

The course costs £10 which includes your course materials and a USB stick to save your work.
