What this course is about

(Course aims & objectives)

 

ITQ Level 2 is a qualification designed to recognise the skills, knowledge and understanding of IT users in employment, education or training. It follows on from the ITQ Level 1 course and provides an excellent understanding of the more advanced office IT tasks.

What the course will cover

 

At the end of the programme, you should be able to:

A

Produce professional looking, fully integrated Word documents

B

Successfully utilise the Mail Merge facility

C

Produce and manipulate professional Excel spreadsheets and graphs

D

Produce an e-Presentation including animations

Time and Day

 

Tuesdays & Thursdays 12:30-15:00

How I will learn & be assessed

 

You will receive detailed instruction from your tutor every lesson. You will also be issued with a student manual, exercises and handouts.

Your tutor will monitor your progress during lessons and advise you according. You will also be able to monitor your own progress through written material and the documents you will produce and by self assessment progress forms.

Will I gain a Qualification?

 

Yes. If you pass any of the 3 Unit exams you will receive a unit accreditation award.  3 successfully passed Unit exams will earn you a ITQ Level 2 award.

What could this course lead to?

 

This course could lead further unit accreditation and certification or diploma, to a more advanced accredited course, ITQ Level 3 (at another venue) , better employment, volunteer opportunities or make it easier for you to study another subject involving IT.

How much does it cost?

 

The course costs £30 which includes course materials, a notebook and USB storage device for your class files.

This is our most advanced course and will require some degree of self study and regular attendance.
